I read Barbara Demick’s Nothing to Envy, and I couldn’t help my tears dropping. I wrote a book review, and it was the most voted review in my Goodreads page.

In this article in Paris Review, it seems like Barbara was writing about Miran and Junsang. Their love ends up separated in South Korea, and you call this a readable immigrant story.
